Full time hours on a temporary basis
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Civil Litigation Lawyer to join our in-house legal team on a maternity cover basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive and collegiate environment, delivering high-quality legal services across five Boroughs.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a diverse caseload including:
- Non-residential property litigation
- Commercial and contract disputes
- Debt recovery
- Public law disputes
- Discrimination and equality claims
- Injunctions and non-housing judicial reviews
- Provide clear, practical legal advice to senior officers and elected Members.
- Support the delivery of key initiatives across multiple Boroughs.
- Draft legal documents and represent the organisation in legal proceedings.
