You will work as part of the services management team with responsibility for the day to day operation and development of a day service for adults with learning disabilities, in line with Renfrewshire Council Policy and Procedures.

You must possess a SVQ level 3 in Social Care or equivalent qualification and be registered with SSSC.

It is essential you have experience of working in a management role and with adults with learning disabilities and ASD; have knowledge of relevant policies and procedures and management systems with the ability to assist with strategic planning, work under pressure, supervise and motivate staff and volunteers, undertake additional management duties in absence of members of the management team and oversee situations and bring them to a satisfactory conclusion. You must have excellent communication skills; have a responsible approach to sensitive information and a flexible approach to work across Social Work Services within Renfrewshire.

Previous experience of working in a Social Work day service environment is desirable.
