Key Responsibilities
• Assist in planning and delivering Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Engage students with dynamic and inclusive teaching methods
• Support behaviour management strategies in the classroom
• Reflect on teaching practice and apply feedback from mentors
• Participate fully in teacher training sessions and CPD
• Collaborate with subject leaders and support staff
• Track student progress and adapt learning activities as needed
Qualifications and Experience
• A degree in Geography or a closely related subject (minimum 2:2 for bursary, 2:1 or 1st for scholarship)
• A genuine desire to become a qualified teacher
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for working with young people in a secondary setting
• Commitment to completing teacher training and QTS
