About the Role:
• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on our 18-bedded Acute Cardiac Ward
• Care for a wide range of cardiac conditions, including Myocardial Infarction, Heart Failure, Arrhythmias, Endocarditis, and Pericardial Effusions
• Support patients pre- and post-interventional procedures in our adjacent Silver Heart Unit

Shift Pattern:

• Excellent communication skills are essential for delivering sensitive information and lifestyle advice effectively
• Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible patient outcomes
Additional Responsibilities:
• Play a vital role in the education, development, supervision, and assessment of learners and unregistered staff
• Support departmental clinical governance initiatives and participate in audit reviews
Professional Conduct:
• Uphold professionalism in line with the NMC Codes of Professional Conduct
Essential Attributes:
• A reliable team player with strong interpersonal skills

This vacancy is open to those who have a current NMC PIN to practice as an Registered Nurse in the UK, or those who are currently enrolled on a course which means they expect to receive their full NMC PIN within the next 3 months. Please note an NMC PRN PIN is not a full NMC PIN and would not fulfil the essential criteria for this role.
The NCA can no longer accept applications from International Nurses who are yet to complete all competencies needed to receive a full NMC PIN to practice in the UK as we have paused our OSCE programme indefinitely.
