Forte Care are expanding and offering an incredible opportunity for you to join one of our children's homes in the West Midlands.
Forte Care prides itself on fantastic quality of care to all the children and young people in our care. We are looking for staff to go above and beyond to meet the expectations of the high quality therapeutic care we provide.
We are looking for people who are passionate about looking after children who have the following attributes;
A passion to work with children and young people
Understand what trauma in children and young people may look like and why children may present challenging behaviour
Understand the importance of integrity and honesty in all aspects of their work
Enjoy and take pride in their work.
Understands there is a real difference to be made on a daily basis with all our children and young people.
Understands that all all behaviour has a meaning and that this includes behaviours which challenge those around them.
Understands that children and young people need to be cared for by people who care for them, believe in them and want to help them achieve in life.
Is willing to learn in a fast paced and upbeat environment.
Goes out of their way to support and advocate for the children.
Understands that the children are at the centre of everything we do.
Is willing to critically think about their practice and share their life experiences.
Be able to empathise and accept the children and young people in our care have experienced trauma which is often shown through the behaviours presented.
Bring your own individual personality into the home.
Understands the importance of equality and diversity.
Is willing to reflect and consider new ways of working to benefit the needs of children and young people in our care.
Please note that you will need to be able to work flexibly in caring for the children.
This will include working shifts and sleep-ins with full-time and part-time hours being available.
Full UK Driving Licence is required to be able to drive our homes cars when transporting children to and from school, appointments, etc.
