Based in the South West area of London you will ensure the smooth and efficient running of their designated area of stores, ensuring that all company policies and procedures are adhered to. To recruit, train and develop a successful sales and management team. On a 12 month fixed term contract
What you`ll be doing:
- Lead your team of Store Managers, ensuring their understanding of their role profile and the part they play in the business.
- Recruit, train, and develop a team of inspirational leaders who are committed to delivering exceptional customer journeys.
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies and action plans to achieve these aspirational financial goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and document best practices that can be used to enhance the business performance.
- Own every element of your divisional budget, ensuring all cost centres are aligned whilst also inspiring year on year growth.
- Maintain strong relationships with all key stakeholders across the business; effectively participating in business initiatives/projects and deployment of strategy.
- Create a culture of psychological safety to allow honest feedback through the correct channels,
- Visit stores with purpose, adding value through recognising operational excellence and challenging non-compliance.
- Be highly attuned to your presence during visits, ensuring that your actions and interactions positively contribute to the store team`s morale and motivation.
- Collaborate with the People Business Partners, building the capability of your store managers to deliver the business/people strategy, addressing all skill gaps and creating a culture of high performance.
- Build consistent high performance within your teams through regular reviews, celebration and supporting areas for improvement.
- Act as a change agent to ensure successful delivery, landing the business model right first time, without any disruption to the customer.
- Drive succession in your division through creating a robust plan of holding regular PDP reviews and yearly career conversations.
- Embed a culture of compliance, keeping your stores legal by adhering to all company policies, processes and procedures, addressing shortfalls in a timely manner
A bit about you:
Experience: Your extensive previous retail or commercial sales experience at a minimum of Store Manager level will demonstrate your strong track record of managing a high performing store.
Commercially minded: You will be commercially focused and results-driven, with an aptitude for decision making. Managing budgets and making commercial decisions at high level,
A proven leader: A highly experienced leader, who can manage performance and inspire others
Inspirational: Your strong ability to lead will inspire and motivate your team as well as
Communicator: Using your excellent communications skills, you`ll be able to build rapport and establish great relationships with colleagues across all business areas including our Distribution network, Factory and our Head Office.
