To be able to travel within a 20-mile radius of Ulverston
Northern Security Ltd is a well-established security provider, operating in the industry since 1998. We hold several industry accreditations and are a recognised training provider for the industry. We currently have a vacancy for a Security Officer based within the Ulverston area. Having the ability to work independently and well under pressure, a flexible attitude to shift work is something we value highly.
Job Description
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to –
Student Support
Providing assistance to Campus in regards to class room set ups
Responding to Fire Alarm activations
Providing an onsite professional security presence
Providing a deterrent to criminal activity, theft and anti-social behaviour
Provide protection for customers, property and staff
Internal and external site patrols
Concierge duties
Applicants must be:
Smart and presentable
Polite and approachable
Professional and able to make decisions on their own accord
Vigilant for anything out of the ordinary
Punctual & reliable
Be flexible for work shifts
Be able to provide 5 year checkable history to complete BS7858 vetting and screening

28 days holiday (pro rata for part time hours)
