Why This Relationship Director Role?

As a Relationship Director at WEX, you’ll manage a portfolio of Tier-1 and Tier-2 clients across EMEA, delivering strategic account growth and commercial success. You’ll become a trusted partner to C-level stakeholders, helping clients leverage our advanced payment technology to streamline operations and meet evolving business goals.

Key Responsibilities of the Relationship Director:

• Lead client relationships, from C-suite to operational teams.
• Build and execute 3-year strategic account plans.
• Uncover integration and optimisation opportunities within client operations.
• Deliver value-driven solutions using WEX’s cutting-edge platform.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive client success.
• Monitor client satisfaction and retention with a proactive approach.

What You Bring:

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in account management or relationship management.
• Proven success in delivering client growth, retention, and strategic influence.
• Solid commercial acumen, with the ability to negotiate and close deals.
• Expertise in the Travel Payments industry – this is a must-have.
• Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in payments, banking, working capital or supply chain finance (B2B preferred).
• Willingness to travel across EMEA.
• Fluency in English; an additional European language is a plus.
