We are looking to recruit a manager for Bluebirds Before and After School Club at Maney Hill Primary School starting September 2025.
The role is 23.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7.15am – 9.00am and 3.00pm-6.00pm.
We are looking for candidates who have a flexible, adaptable and confident attitude. You must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with parents, children and staff. You should have basic literacy and numeracy skills (to GCSE levels) and preferably a minimum Level 2 qualification in childcare (or similar qualification).
You will be responsible for organising the registers (plus distributing to classes), staff rotas, stationery orders, ordering food items and organising staff cover.
Also to ensure the smooth day to day running of the club which involves: indoor and outdoor play activities, preparing snacks and drinks, tidying up afterwards and assisting in the delivery or collection of children by their parents/carers. You must be polite and professional at all times, providing a good role model for our children.
It is important that you promote the safeguarding and welfare of the children in your care and ensure that all tasks are carried out with regard to health and safety.

Our ideal candidate will ideally have some experience of working with children.
