Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon craving variety, autonomy, and purpose? This is your chance to fall in love with your schedule and your job as a Roving Vet Surgeon in West Yorkshire! With every day offering new experiences and every stop bringing real impact, this is an exciting opportunity to take your clinical expertise on the road while remaining a valued member of a supportive and collaborative team.
Working across a network of modern, purpose built clinics – including a central hospital hub – you'll enjoy the perfect blend of routine and advanced practice. Facilities include x-ray, ultrasound, CT, dental x-ray, visiting MRI, and fully equipped theatres, alongside a thriving referral caseload in surgery, dermatology, ophthalmology, and more. You’ll also benefit from the latest in patient care services including laparoscopy, orthopaedics, cardiology, and even hydrotherapy and laser therapy.
This is a role built for vets who enjoy autonomy but still want the structure and benefits of a permanent position. You’ll be comfortable working independently or in a hospital setting, confident with consulting, routine and emergency surgeries, and able to adapt seamlessly to varied cases. Whether you’re exploring long term practice options or simply seeking an invigorating change of pace, this role offers flexibility without compromise.
You’ll be joining a passionate, well established team where clinical discussion, support, and camaraderie are part of daily life. Vets across the group are encouraged to pursue certificates and professional development, and you’ll have access to the resources and case variety to truly grow your skill set. With a rota shared at least six weeks in advance, you’ll also have control over your work-life balance.
Add in the charm of West Yorkshire – with its vibrant towns, countryside walks, and great connections – and you’ve found the perfect setting for your next career adventure. Step into a role where no two days are the same, and every one counts!
