We have an opportunity for a Trainee Dental Nurse to join our Devon Dental Centre of excellence in Ashburton.
No previous dental experience is needed for this role. If you have a genuine interest in health and well-being, are passionate about delivering great service, and looking for a career where you can learn, grow and develop, then this could be a perfect fit for you.
Training
One day per week training at Exeter College to complete a L3 Dental Nurse Apprenticeship.
Qualifications required
GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above are essential to undertake the course
Skills required
Enjoy working as part of a team, and are a good communicator who thrives upon delivering excellent standards of patient care
Happy to be a key player in the team providing chair-side assistance, ensuring that the correct materials and equipment are available during each clinical session
Comfortable learning to perform high quality dental nursing whilst assisting each dentist, hygienist or therapist in all procedures&l
Prospects
Qualification / Standard : ST1431 Dental nurse (GDC 2023)
Duration 18 months
