Job Title: Grinder / Linisher
Location: Redditch
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 06:00–16:00 (4-day working week)
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour

Overview:
A respected engineering company in Redditch is currently seeking a skilled Grinder/Linisher to join its manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role working on precision components for the aerospace sector, offering long-term stability and a great work-life balance with a 4-day working week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Grinding and linishing metal components to tight tolerances and high-quality finishes

  
  

• Working with materials such as aluminium, stainless steel, and titanium

  
  

• Using belt linishers, pedestal grinders, air tools, and other finishing equipment

  
  

• Reading engineering drawings and working to exact specifications

  
  

• Performing visual and dimensional inspections throughout the process

  
  

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment

  
  

  Requirements:

  • Previous experience in grinding, linishing, or metal finishing within a manufacturing setting

    
    

  • Ability to achieve high-quality surface finishes and work to close tolerances

    
    

  • Confident using a range of hand and powered finishing tools

    
    

  • Good understanding of workplace health and safety practices

    
    

  • Aerospace experience is advantageous but not essential
