About the Role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Site Manager to join the team in Dorset, supporting projects across the South West. The successful candidate will assist in managing construction projects efficiently and safely, ensuring high standards of workmanship, cost control, and compliance with health and safety policies.
You'll work closely with a small on-site team and manage subcontractors to ensure smooth delivery of residential projects, meeting quality expectations and programme deadlines.
Key Responsibilities of the Assistant Site Manager:
• Oversee day-to-day site activities in line with pre-start pack timelines, cost targets, and quality standards
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors and site staff to ensure timely, safe, and efficient project delivery
• Maintain and enforce strict health and safety practices at all times
• Monitor build progress and quality in line with company procedures and specifications
• Work collaboratively with the sales team and customers to meet expectations and ensure timely handovers
• Support the development and training of team members on site
• Maintain accurate site records, inspections, and reports
• Ensure excellent communication across departments and with stakeholders
