Crynodeb
Personal Care Assistant required to assist two elderly persons with a Physical Disability, living in the Newmains/Wishaw area.
You would be required to provide one to one care and assistance within their home, including attending to personal care.
Your duties would involve assisting with tasks such as:
· Attending to all personal care needs
· Assisting with medication
· Preparing meals and healthy snacks
· Moving and assisting - pushing manual wheelchair
· General Housework
· Any other daily living tasks to promote independent living
Must take a proactive and innovative approach to support and encourage individual to be involved in activities suited to their needs.
The most important qualities are a warm and friendly nature and a desire to work within a caring role.
Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
Pets in the household – you must be comfortable working with a dog in the home.
Full UK Driving Licence is preferred but not essential.
Relevant care experience is preferred, but not essential as training will be provided.
Hours of Work (with a degree of flexibility)
Recruiting for 1 position.
Guaranteed permanent position of 25.5 hours per week.
Days and times:
Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 9:30am to 6pm (8.5 hrs each day)
Extra hours may be available.
