Are you a skilled welder with a passion for precision and craftsmanship, looking for a long term opportunity with a well respected contractor?
Kilnbridge are looking for an experienced MIG & TIG Welder to join its dynamic team and contribute to high-quality fabrication projects. Carrying out welding of items within the workshop in accordance with Kilnbridge welding procedures.
Days: Mon-Fri
Hours: 6am-4pm
Weekends: Optional
Rate: £15-£17 Depending on experience
Duration: 6 months+ work
Responsibilites
•Be a team player, ensuring yourself and everyone around you are working safely and producing high quality work in a timely manner.
•Ensure that all instructions are carried out in a professional manner, in accordance with the Company policies, safe systems of work, factory production control and fabrication tolerance criteria.
• Carry out morning checks on your work area and all equipment to ensure it is safe to begin work.
•Follow engineering drawings to a high standard.
•Carry out in process checks and report any ambiguities to the Team Leaders for clarification.
•Ensure all equipment is maintained and kept in good working condition.
• Ensures that work areas are clean and orderly.
• Ensure that all measuring equipment is kept in calibration.
• Maintain all paperwork to high standard, submitting completed drawings when required.
• Report any HSEQ related suggestions or issues on Notify (reporting app)
Requirements
• Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• To be punctual and reliable
