This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading mental health research team that has secured over £40M in joint funding over the last five years. Led by Professor Ann John, the team focuses on child and adolescent mental health and suicide and self-harm prevention. Professor Ann John is the Director of the newly awarded National Centre for Suicide Prevention and Self-Harm Research, Chair of the National Advisory Group on Suicide and Self-Harm Prevention to the Welsh Government, a member of SAGE, a Trustee of The Samaritans, and Co-Director of DATAMIND, the Health Data Research UK Hub for Mental Health.
The National Centre for SPSHR, led by Swansea University in collaboration with Cardiff University, the University of South Wales, and The Samaritans, will revolutionise suicide and self-harm prevention by translating cutting-edge research into real-world impact.
You will work closely with the Project Manager and wider team to ensure the overall programme’s communication strategies are effectively executed. Your responsibilities will include creating and managing content for various platforms, coordinating outreach efforts, and maintaining communication with both internal and external stakeholders, including liaising with People with Lived Experience. If you’re ready to make a difference and grow professionally, we encourage you to apply today!
