Are you an innovative and inspiring educator or industry expert looking to make a meaningful impact in the world of Computing and IT?
Weymouth & Kingston Maurward College is seeking a passionate Lecturer to deliver outstanding learning experiences and support students in reaching their full potential.
About the Role
As a Lecturer in Computing & IT, you will have the opportunity to teach across a range of courses, helping learners develop essential skills in the following areas:
• Systems Support – Equipping students with the knowledge and hands-on experience to troubleshoot, maintain, and optimise computer systems, ensuring they meet operational demands.
• Network Installation & Maintenance – Teaching students how to design, configure, and manage secure networks, providing them with the expertise required to keep businesses and organisations connected and operational.
• Cyber Security – Preparing students to protect digital infrastructures, identify vulnerabilities, and defend against cyber threats—critical skills for today’s tech-driven world. An interest in computer architecture, hardware, and programming would be highly advantageous, further enhancing the breadth of expertise offered to students. You will be responsible for providing exceptional pastoral support to students while working as part of a dynamic, forward-thinking team that continues to achieve outstanding success.
What We’re Looking For
