The Go to Host acts as the eyes and ears of the assigned floors and buildings, playing a key role in bringing the workplace experience to life through strong engagement and a holistic view of the workday.

Job Description

The Go to Host will oversee reception duties and serve as a central, visible presence that supports both employees and guests, ensuring every interaction is smooth and professional.

This is a varied and dynamic role, offering continuous opportunities for learning through extensive training and development.

Based on a small site occupying half a floor in a multi-tenanted building, this role supports approximately 120 desks as well as dedicated client suites used for external meetings.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact for colleagues and guests, representing the client in a welcoming, friendly, and professional manner.
Ensure all colleagues feel welcome and supported by providing high-quality, personable service at all times.
Maintain a visible floor presence, proactively monitoring for cleanliness, comfort, and safety, and log tickets for any issues requiring attention.
Respond promptly and politely to guest and colleague enquiries.
Provide basic technical support, including first-line fixes such as system reboots and connection checks.
Escalate unresolved technical issues to the Tech Bar in line with established handoff procedures.
Contribute to creating a positive and efficient workplace environment through proactive support and attention to detail.


Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Customer service experience, ideally supporting Blue Chip or high-touch clients.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Strong proficiency in general technology and the full Microsoft Office suite.
Excellent verbal communication and telephone handling skills.
