Gloucestershire College is recruiting a Head of School for our Arts and Media department.
This is an exciting time to join the college, and this role is responsible for acting as a pivotal and highly valued member of staff, providing operational direction and leadership to a forward looking department. In doing so, the Head of School will inspire, lead and manage a team in delivering a range of successful teaching and learning outcomes to students and be accountable for the quality of provision.
The role encompasses driving the delivery of outstanding standards of teaching, learning and assessment through the continual development of existing and new curriculum
The school comprises of 4 main areas: Art and Design (including Fashion, Graphic Design and Photography), Creative Media, Music and Performing Arts. All subject areas are delivered from Level 1 to Level 5. Each department has specialist teaching spaces that are well-equipped with industry-standard resources. A team of Arts and Media technicians support subject areas, offering technical assistance in and outside of class.
