Working closely with Kath, our Operations Manager and external partners, you’ll provide friendly, proactive, and reliable support that helps us focus on what matters most – nurturing our pupils’ potential.

Admin Assistant, Wyvern Academy

£28,265-£32,218 per annum, depending on experience. Pro rata to £9,806-£11,177 for part time hours, term time only. 15 hours per week over 4 days: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 8.30am-12.30pm, Friday – 8.30am– 11.30am.

Role overview:As our Admin Assistant, you’ll be the vital link that keeps the wheels turning smoothly across HR, Finance, and Lettings administration. Working closely with Kath, our Operations Manager and external partners, you’ll provide friendly, proactive, and reliable support that helps us focus on what matters most – nurturing our pupils’ potential.

What you’ll do:

• Deliver seamless administrative support to ensure HR, Finance, and Lettings functions run like clockwork.
• Manage emails with professionalism and warmth, draft letters when needed, and keep our records and spreadsheets up to date.
• Perform general office duties – think photocopying, scanning, and electronic filing – all with care and attention.
• Safeguard confidential information with the highest standards, always respecting our data protection policies.
• Collaborate closely with our staff team to ensure paperwork is completed promptly and accurately.

We’re searching for someone who is not only organised and detail-focused but also calm, approachable, and ready to pitch in wherever needed. You’ll be the kind of person who:

• Communicates clearly and professionally, both in writing and in person.
• Has experience in admin roles (preferably in a school environment)

• Understands the importance of discretion and confidentiality.
• Takes pride in completing tasks accurately and on time.
• Enjoys being part of a team but can work independently when needed.
• Has a can-do attitude and is always willing to learn.
