Contract type: 1 x Permanent Position & 1 x Fixed-term to 31st August 2026
Hours: 32.5 Hours per week – Term time only + inset days
The East Reading Federation is seeking two experienced, dynamic team players to join our well-established Early Years Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Early Years Practioner who is passionate about high-quality education and inclusivity for all children. You will join a well-established, supportive community with strong staff teams, enthusiastic pupils, and a dedicated Governing Board.
The Right Candidate Will:
• Hold NNEB or NVQ 3 qualification
• Have experience of working with children, preferably in Early Years
• Fully support the ethos of Alfred Sutton Primary School and wider Federation
• Have knowledge of basic health and safety procedures; ability to deal with accidents or emergencies in a calm manner
• Have knowledge and understanding of different social, cultural and physical needs of Children.
• Be able to demonstrate good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with adults, including other professionals, parents and carers and with pupils with different cultural, physical and social needs.
• Hold a valid first aid qualification, preferably in paediatric first aid or be willing to attend such training
• Demonstrate a willingness and desire to embrace continued professional development opportunities
• Be caring, friendly, approachable and inclusive
• Demonstrate dedication, patience, humour and enthusiasm]
• Maintain confidentiality on all school matters
