Summary
Title: Compound Driver / Yard Operative The Best Connection Group are proud to be supporting one of our prestigious clients in Thorne by recruiting Vehicle Preparation Operatives (VPO) for their site.
This is ongoing work to start mid-July.
Shifts on either days or nights available.
As a VPO, your duties include, but are not limited to: Locating and moving vehicles throughout the site Processing selected vehicles through the wash programme Ensuring correct vehicles are put through for despatch Carrying out the photography progress To carry out battery maintenance charge and any other vehicle maintenance activites Undertake all other duties as directed with the level of the job function Responsibilites: To maintain a high regard for Health & Safety at all levels while onsite Using safety equipment provided for personal safety and the safety of others Cleaning vehicles to a suitable standard for inspection as required Liaise with other departments to maintain a co-operative relationship across each department To report any issues regarding site security to the FLM and/or Manager. Applicants must hold a valid UK Driving Licence.
Benefits & Requirements:
- Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
- 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
- Driving licence required
- Licence - Car/Van Driving Licence (Category B)
- Canteen
- Induction Training
- Ongoing Assignment
- Training Provided
