Rate: £14.50 per hour (PAYE) or £20 per hour (Umbrella Co or Ltd Co)

Excellent new contract available for a Mechanical Fitter position has become available. Have you got extensive experience of precision mechanical assembly / fitting ideally working on special purpose machines?
The Mechanical Fitter role is varied and you will be able work within a small team working on bespoke machinery which is utilised within a number of sectors.
With plenty of hours available, we are looking for people who are available ASAP.
Mechanical Fitter Requirements:
- Proven experience of working as a Mechanical Fitter within a engineering manufacturing environment
- Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings
- Build and run basic tests on machinery as required
- Have good understanding of mechanical principles and precision mechanisms
- BTEC or HND qualification (or work-based alternative qualifications / experience)
Mechanical Fitter Responsibilities:
- Assist with the building of production machinery
- The Mechanical Fitter will be required to read and interpret engineering drawings and build special purpose machinery
- Electrical knowledge or experience is preferred but not essential
- Candidates will be required to build sub-assemblies and complete machine builds
