Crynodeb
St Vincent's Catholic Primary School is seeking to employ a Higher Level Teaching Assistant with a specialism in PE & School Sports. The role is to support specific pupils and small groups with learning needs as well as providing teaching cover for Teachers' PPA. The PE specialism would involve leading and delivering PE lessons across the school plus before and after-school sports clubs.Your duties would include supporting teachers with the care, education and assessment of the children. In particular, you will provide support in the following areas:Lead and deliver high quality PE lessons and school sport across all year groupsProvide teaching cover for Teachers’ PPA (Planning, preparation and assessment time) and absences as required.Run sports clubs and sports tournamentsWork with class teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils

Give support to pupils, individually or in groups, so they can access the curriculum, take part in learning and experience a sense of achievement *This is a fixed-term post with the potential to become permanent following a staffing review.
