Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and experienced Science Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in Horsham from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to make a lasting impact in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
About the Role: You will be joining a dynamic and collaborative science department, delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Contract Details:
- Location: Horsham, West Sussex
- Position: Science Teacher
- Start Date: September 2025
- Contract Type: Temp to Perm / Permanent
- Pay Range: £162.32 - £223.62 per day (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm, plus occasional parents' evenings
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year UK teaching experience in Science
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Up-to-date Safeguarding training (or willingness to complete)
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
- Right to work in the UK
- Two professional references
