We are seeking a dedicated Primary School Teacher to join a mainstream primary school in Chorley, specialising in a SEND class that ranges from Reception to Year 6. This role is ideal for someone passionate about inclusive education and skilled in supporting diverse learning needs.
- Lead a class of 20 students with varying special educational needs and disabilities.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that are accessible and engaging for all students.
- Work collaboratively with another teacher and teaching assistants to ensure a supportive and effective learning environment.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the needs and abilities of the students.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, adapting strategies as needed to support individual learning outcomes.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their children's progress and any concerns.
- Participate in school meetings and professional development opportunities related to SEND education.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
