We are looking for a Female Teaching Assistant TA who inspires to excel within the education industry. You will be supporting students in a classroom at one of leading schools in London. This rewarding Teaching Assistant will require you to work with a young year 8 girl who suffers from Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) due to past personal events. We need a caring doting and nurturing female TA to support this pupil. The school is situated in the heart of london and caters for secondary pupils 11-16.

Rate: £95-115p/d
Ideal Candidate:
- Supervising and supporting pupils
- Assisting in the development of appropriate resources, schemes of work and teaching strategies
- Supporting with behaviour management
- Undertaking structured and agreed learning activities/teaching programmes, adjusting activities to ensure achievement of learning goals
- Assisting with the supervision of children out of lesson times, such as playtime and lunchtime duty
- Establishing good relationships with children, acting as a role model
- Promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all children, supporting difference and ensuring that all have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop.
Requirements:
- Experience of working directly with young people in an education or training environment, supporting the learning of students.
- Some basic knowledge of SEND and learning barriers.
- Previous experience working with children, ideally in an educational setting.
- Bachelor's degree (Education Studies, Psychology or Sports Degrees are welcome)
