We are looking for an eager and friendly SEND Teacher to work at one of our leading SEND secondary schools in Enfield, North London. The school has a "Good" OFSTED rating and stands as beacon of good choice. The school is a mixed school catering for pupils aged between 4-11 years old with Autism. Most pupils also have Autism, SLD, and additional physical/sensory disabilities.
The ideal SEND teacher will be a dedicated and creative educator with demonstrable SEND knowledge, Primary school teachers with a passion for SEND are welcome to apply. As an SEND Teacher should have an innovative and flexible approach to teaching.
Position: SEND Teacher
Start: September 2025
Location: EN3, Enfield
Contract: Full Time (Ongoing)
Pay: £180-£240 Per Day (PAYE or Umbrella)
Setting: Primary School
Job Description
The successful SEND teacher's day-to-day role will include delivering creative and person-centred lessons to up to 8 learners in a pre-formal class.
To be considered for this role you will need:
- Must have QTS
- Demonstrable knowledge of and a passion for SEND
- Makaton and PECS - not essential but highly desirable
- Experience working with Complex Needs and ASD
Additional requirements:
- References confirming suitability for the role
- Commitment to Safeguarding
- Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
- Eligibility to work in the UK
