Love being on the move, working with your hands, and being part of projects that literally build the future? We’re on the lookout for a practical, reliable, CSCS-card-carrying go-getter to join our team as a Concrete Site Technician.

No lab coat or PhD required — just a driver’s license, a CSCS card, and the motivation to get stuck in. We’ll provide all the training you need (plus a van, so no worrying about fuel or playlists).

A Day in the Life:

• Rock up to our Derby lab around 8:00 AM

  
  

• Grab your company van and concrete kit

  
  

• Head off to site visits across the Midlands

  
  

• Take samples of fresh concrete (yes, really) and make test cubes

  
  

• Return to base in the afternoon and drop off your samples for testing

  
  

• Clock off. Go home. Repeat the next day.
  No overnight stays. No two days the same.

  
  What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Making concrete cube samples on-site — it’s more fun than it sounds

    
    

  • Driving across the region, so you must have a valid UK licence

    
    

  • Keeping equipment calibrated, clean, and in check

    
    

  • Lifting, carrying, walking — this is a physical role

    
    

  • Following all health & safety rules (PPE makes a fashion statement, right?)

    
    

  • Supporting our lab team with a bit of behind-the-scenes testing magic

    
    What We’re Looking For:

    • Driving licence + CSCS card – must-haves!

      
      

    • Good with your hands and not afraid to get a bit dusty

      
      

    • Punctual, practical, and ready to learn

      
      

    • Friendly, independent, and cool under pressure

      
      

    • Able to work occasional overtime (when needed – we’ll ask nicely)
