About the Company
Our client provides high-quality laser cutting and fabrication services for a wide range of industries including:

- Architectural Metalwork
- Medical Equipment

- Industrial Kitchens
- Electrical Switchgear
- Trains and Trams
They specialize in bespoke steel products such as grills and fire tables, using advanced CNC laser and press brake machinery.
The Role
As a Laser Machinist - Setter Operator, you will:
- Operate high-power fibre laser machines (Biostronic controls preferred, others accepted)
- Set up machines for cutting mild steel (up to 25mm) and stainless steel (up to 20mm)
- Process internal and customer orders with precision
- Work closely with a supportive team in a clean, modern facility
Note: This is a setter/operator role - programming is handled by a separate team.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Experience setting and operating laser cutting machines
- Willingness to work night shifts on a rotating basis
Desirable:
- Familiarity with Biostronic controls (not essential)
Shift Pattern
- Week 1: Monday-Friday, 06:00 - 14:00
- Week 2: Monday-Friday, 14:00 - 22:00
- Overtime: Time and a half after 39 hours
