Hours: 29.6 hours per week
Location: Wakefield College
We have an amazing opportunity for an enthusiastic and inspiring Lecturer in A Level Business and Economics to join our fantastic and motivated team, to help us teach our learners, and support them to achieve their highest potential.
You will work alongside an experienced A Level Business teacher and become part of a professional, dedicated, and supportive Sixth Form staff. Our team takes pride in fostering a positive working environment, with a strong sense of camaraderie and high expectations for both staff and students.
As a Lecturer in A Level Business & Economics you will:
Develop, plan, prepare, deliver and evaluate lessons to a high standard
Provide outstanding teaching to ensure that all learners achieve their highest potential
Carry out appropriate assessment of students’ work and progress
We are looking for an enthusiastic professional who can promote a culture of excellent behaviour, motivation and high learner performance through excellent standards of teaching and learning. In addition, you should be an excellent team player and have a passion for supporting students to succeed.
You will have:
Degree in Business or other related discipline
GCSE in Maths and English A*-C/9-4 or equivalent
Experience of working with 16-18 year olds
A PGCE or recognised full teaching qualification is desirable but not essential
