Sales Advisor - Plant Hire | High Wycombe | Office-based, shift pattern | Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 4:30 pm or 8:15 am to 5:45 pm which will normally alternate daily depending on staffing requirements | £35,000 - £45,000 negotiable, dependent on experience

Our client is seeking an experienced Sales Advisor (Plant Hire) to join their team in High Wycombe.

Are you the right person for the job?
• A proven track record of providing great customer service
• Sales experience with a history of identifying upselling opportunities and following up inquiries
• Excellent communication skills and confident in dealing with customers on the telephone
• Experience working in a fast-paced operational structure where multi-tasking is a daily occurrence
• Proficient user in Excel & experience working with different systems
• Good attention to detail
• Confident and positive attitude
• Plant hire industry experience preferred, but not essential
What will your role look like?
• Being the first point of contact for all hires of both daily and weekly equipment
• Provide quotes or gather all essential information to enable a smooth handover to the sales team
• Assist the sales team with proposals, customer inquiries and business development activities, ensuring essential information is updated within the CRM system
• Communicate courteously, professionally, and promptly with customers by telephone, email and face-to-face
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with clients through superior customer service
• Diarise jobs and ensure consistency and accuracy with booking information
• Handle customer complaints or incidents with a positive solutions-focused approach
• Continually improve customer procedures, polices and standards for your department
• Grow your pump and product knowledge and keep up to date with changes to ensure you can provide high quality customer service and ensure all needs are met
• Review job tickets to ensure accuracy prior to billing.
