What you'll be doing
- Provide a high-quality service to assist in the achievement of departmental. service and personal performance targets.
- Assist with planning, delivery and monitoring of the core objectives of the team and support other team members when required.
- Assist in reviewing, testing and developing programme and process' to ensure the core objectives of the team are delivered in an efficient and effective manner and meet corporate and locally set quality standards.
- Research customer enquiries and provide accurate and timely information, advice, and guidance to internal and external customers.
- Review permit applications to work on the highway, Grant or refuse Permits and issue appropriate conditions.
- Undertake Network Compliance duties to review and produce permit fee invoices.
- Liaise proactively with customers, utilities and colleagues and participate in the development of effective working relationships.
- Attend and organise meetings to contribute appropriately and assist with research, analysis and reporting information.
Who we're looking for
- Excellent IT and report writing skills, with the ability to communicate at highest levels.
- Good knowledge and experience of legislation and codes of practice as they relate to role.
- Experience of working in a Network Management environment.
- Working knowledge of Permit Schemes for roads & street works.
