Location: Lewes
This position is offered on a hybrid basis with a minimum 3 days per week in our Lewes office

Salary: £24,926 per year

Hours: 37 per week
Monday – Thursday 9am to 5pm, Fridays – 9am to 4.30pm

What you’ll be doing:
Southdown is the largest not-for-profit provider of care, support, and housing in Sussex. We’ve been helping people access stable accommodation, mental health and care services since 1972, now counting over 900 people as part of our team.

As a People Services Administrator you will be joining a team providing administration support for all things People related including recruitment and onboarding, absence management, training, employee relations and offboarding. With a new HRIS and HR ticketing system on the horizon, now is an exciting time to join Southdown. We welcome applications from those with experience in roles such as Human Resources Administrator, Recruitment Administrator, Onboarding Administrator, Recruitment and HR administrator, HR Coordinator, ER Administrator, HR Services Administrator.

Key Responsibilities

What you’ll need for the role:
• Previous experience working in an HR or People Services team
• Knowledge of UK employment law, GDPR and best HR practices
• Experience in HR systems including HR Information Systems (HRIS), Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Learning Management Systems platforms (LMS).
• Knowledge of Recruitment lifecycle, onboarding compliance, and employment checks.

What would be nice:
• CIPD Level 3 qualification (or working towards it)
