We are currently recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a highly regarded specialist school in Crawley. The school caters to learners aged 5 to 19 with complex needs and SEN, offering a supportive and inclusive learning environment that helps students achieve both academic and personal milestones-including GCSEs, A-Levels, and vocational qualifications.

The Role:
This is a full-time, term-time role supporting learners on a 1:1 basis as well as in small groups or whole class settings. The post is available immediately, with flexibility for notice periods, and is initially offered on a temporary basis with the potential to become permanent.
Key Responsibilities:

Support students with SEN and complex needs in their academic and personal development

Work closely with teachers and therapists to implement tailored learning plans

Foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment

Promote student well-being and confidence through compassionate and consistent support
Requirements:

Experience working in a care, SEN, or education setting (references required)

A calm, resilient, and nurturing attitude

GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English

Eligibility to work in the UK

Experience with SEN learners is desirable but not essential
