Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fencing Panel Maker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a good work ethic and have experience with hand and power tools. This role involves assembling fencing panels to meet quality standards and specifications, ensuring that all products are manufactured efficiently and effectively.
Pay is on a piecework scale so you will need to be fit enough to produce approximately 132 panels per day and be able to lift heavy objects in accordance with safe manual handling regulations. This is a fast paced working environment.
2 weeks training given
Our working hours are 7am to 4.15pm Monday to Thursday with the option of overtime until 1pm on Fridays
Responsibilities
Utilise hand tools and power tools to assemble fencing panels according to design specifications.
Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet established standards.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency.
Troubleshoot any mechanical issues that may arise during the assembly process.
Skills
Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools essential for assembly tasks.
Experience in assembling components with attention to detail and precision
Excellent problem-solving skills and logical thinking capabilities.
