Summary
Due to a strong order book and winning new work, we are currently looking for an experienced press-brake operator, who can set and operate Amada press brakes. key attributes must be able to produce high quality sheet metal parts to fine limit specifications.
Highly focused and motivated individual, proactive in wanting to improve processes where possible. Someone who is able to work under pressure and read/interpret engineering drawings.
Visually and dimensionally inspect components to ensure they meet the required specifications throughout production, to accurately carry out first-off inspections for others if required.
High standard of timekeeping and attendance is essential.
Ability to follow instructions carefully and precisely.
The ideal candidate will be preferably a time served engineer or hold a relevant engineering NVQ or equivalent qualification. This is not an essential requirement if coming from a long-established sheet metal background.
