Job Description:
LQLiving is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Specialist Support Worker to join the team at Beverley Lewis House (Oak House). This role focuses on delivering high-quality, person-centred support to vulnerable individuals, particularly women with complex needs, in a safe and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide emotional and practical support tailored to the individual needs of residents
• Support clients in developing life skills, building confidence, and achieving greater independence
• Assist with care plans, risk assessments, and support reviews
• Liaise with health, housing, and social care professionals to ensure a coordinated approach
• Promote safeguarding and ensure the safety and well-being of all residents
• Accurately maintain records, case notes, and incident reports
• Encourage resident participation in activities and community engagement
Candidate Requirements:
• Experience supporting individuals with complex social, emotional, or mental health needs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of safeguarding, confidentiality, and professional boundaries
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Understanding of trauma-informed practice and person-centred care
• A relevant support or care qualification is desirable but not essential
