Arnolfini, Bristol’s centre for contemporary arts, is looking for an ambitious and strategic Development Manager to shape the future of fundraising at one of the South West’s most iconic cultural institutions.
Our Vision
Arnolfini will be a place where arts and audiences come together, inviting conversation, creativity and collaboration, in a space that feels open to all.
Our Values:
RESPECTFUL, ADAPTIVE, CREATIVE, WELLBEING, COLLABORATIVE AND BELONGING.
Our programme is underpinned by the organisational values which enable us to publicly open dialogue with our artists, community and audiences about the work we programme and guide our decision-making process.
The Role
This newly created role offers the chance to make a real impact — leading our voluntary income generation strategy, building powerful partnerships, and helping secure the financial sustainability that underpins our creative ambition. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll work closely with senior leaders to craft compelling cases for support, steward meaningful relationships, and champion Arnolfini’s role as a vital civic space locally and nationally.
Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for someone with a strong track record in arts or charity fundraising, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the vision to turn strategy into results. If you’re passionate about the power of art and want to play a leading role in shaping a cultural future rooted in equity, inclusion, and environmental responsibility, we’d love to hear from you.
