Crynodeb
To support clinical psychologists and carry out a range of psychometric and other assessments related to neurodevelopmental disorders. These may include psychometric tests, rating scales, direct and indirect structured observations, and semi-structured interviews with clients, family members and others involved in the clients care. To assist in the formulation and delivery of psychological interventions for adults with neurodevelopmental disorders under supervision.To support interventions with staff teams, such as consultancy, training, identifying resources, multi-disciplinary working, signposting staff to appropriate services and service promotion.To support data collection and analysis, for both clinical and service evaluation, as required. This may include collecting and reviewing a variety of data such as psychometric scores, interview data, historical information, literature searches. This will include data inputting and analysis of service databases using Excel and contribute to report writing under supervision. Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment. You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies.
