Contract: Part Time Salary: £12.21 Per Hour Shift Type: Days Contracted hours: 25Our private nursing home is tucked away in the beautiful Lanark countryside, providing specialist care for up to 70 residents. Set in peaceful surroundings, our home offers a warm, supportive environment where every member of the team plays a vital role in ensuring residents feel safe, respected and at ease.
We are now looking for a dedicated Domestic Assistant to join our friendly team. If you take pride in cleanliness, care about the impact of your work and enjoy being part of a supportive community, this is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference every day.
What we offer:
- £12.21 per hour
- Contracted to 25 hours per week
- Paid PVG, pension scheme, free uniform and onsite parking

Your role:
As a Domestic Assistant, you will help maintain a clean, safe and homely environment for our residents. From bedrooms and lounges to bathrooms and communal spaces, your attention to detail will help ensure the highest standards of hygiene and comfort.
You will follow cleaning routines, help with basic laundry duties, and work closely with other team members to keep the home running smoothly. Whether supporting a resident in settling into their new room or simply ensuring a freshly made bed and tidy space, your work will be felt and appreciated every day.
What we are looking for:
You should be reliable, thorough and take pride in your work. Previous experience in a cleaning or domestic role is helpful but not essential — full training will be provided. Most importantly, you will bring a respectful attitude, strong work ethic and a team-focused approach.
