Reports to: Production Director
Lead the safety culture that shapes the future of modular construction.
Our client doesn't just build modular solutions - they build environments where people thrive. As they grow and transform the way buildings are delivered, we're looking for a bold, strategic, and experienced Head of HSE to take their health, safety, and environmental performance to new heights.
This is your opportunity to shape an HSE culture that's not just compliant - but genuinely world-class.
The Role:
• Strategic Leadership: Craft and drive a forward-thinking HSE strategy that aligns with both operational needs and long-term business goals.
• Compliance Mastery: Ensure we meet and exceed UK Health & Safety laws (CDM, PUWER, LOLER, RIDDOR) and environmental legislation.
• Operational Excellence: Embed safety into every layer of the business - from factory floors to site execution and project planning.
• Culture Champion: Inspire behavioural change through engaging initiatives and hands-on leadership.
• Training & Development: Design impactful training programmes that build competence and accountability across all teams.
• Systems & Standards: Own and elevate our ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems, integrating them seamlessly into everyday operations.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Represent the business to HSE bodies and clients while collaborating internally across Production, HR, Commercial, and more.
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (essential)
• CMIOSH or working towards (preferred)
• 5+ years in a senior HSE leadership role in manufacturing, construction, or modular/offsite sectors
• Proven success with audits, risk management, SSOW, RAMS, COSHH
• A proactive mindset, with a track record of leading culture change
• Excellent communicator and influencer at all business levels
One of the UK's leading modular construction specialists - and they're growing fast. You'll be joining a business where innovation, sustainability, and people-first culture are more than buzzwords - they're how they operate every day. If you want to lead with purpose, shape a future-focused HSE strategy, and leave a lasting legacy of safer, smarter working - this is your opportunity.
Apply today and lead the change that builds a better tomorrow.
