A newly created Project Manager opportunity near Cheltenham to spearhead the market launch of a brand-new EV charger product, has been created for someone looking to make a difference and also further their career along the way. With the product already in advanced development stages, this role is pivotal in driving the final execution phase and ensuring seamless delivery to market. The Project Manager – EV Charger Launch will take full ownership of the programme, liaising with stakeholders across design, supply chain, finance, and compliance functions to bring the product to commercial readiness.
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of the product’s launch phase. The individual will ensure regulatory compliance, drive coordination across technical and logistics teams, and maintain clear oversight of budgetary tracking. With a go-to-market timeline targeted for September, the role will be instrumental in aligning strategic priorities with practical execution, ensuring timely delivery without compromise on quality or compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the complete lifecycle of the EV charger product launch.
Ensure all project timelines and milestones are met, driving on-time market entry.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including designers, suppliers, and shipping partners.
Supervise product certification activities, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
Oversee logistics operations to align shipping and supply chain requirements.
Collaborate with finance teams to track project budgets and manage cost controls.
Deliver frequent status updates, risk assessments, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Troubleshoot delivery obstacles and implement solutions to maintain delivery momentum.
Ideal Experience & Skills Required
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
Demonstrable project management or product launch experience.
Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders
Proven ability to handle complex timelines and interdepartmental collaboration
Proactive approach to problem solving and a high degree of initiative
Interest in or exposure to the electric vehicle or renewable energy sectors
Familiarity with certification or compliance processes within regulated industries is desirable
Comfortable working within a fast-paced and evolving delivery environment.
