Job description
The ‘Late Shift Manager’ who has the capabilities to work with and lead a diverse, small team on a variety of tasks throughout the day and to be responsible for the day-to-day good running of the site. The Shift Manager should be able to support and energize a dynamic team whilst maximising their potential in a supportive manner and inturn maximise sales whilst remaining within the budgets set by the Company.
Details of duties:
Ensure that the station is applying the correct fuel retail prices as instructed from time to time so as to maximise fuel profit margins. Effectively plan, organise and manage the Staff Rota, stock availability and sales targets.
Ensure standards remain high and continually look for ways to improve.
Ensure, the monitoring of Stock-procurement and Loading and clearing the accounts for Fuel Procurements. Fuel Loading happens during this shift.
Make sure that all staff provide excellent customer service to drive sales forward. To carry out monthly fuel audits in order to ensure the correct payments of monies and security of the Company’s fuel stocks. To train each staff member at the station and ensure that good customer practice is carried out consistently. Motivate, lead, support and coach the team to bring out the best.
- Oversee daily operations of the shift and ensure smooth workflow
- Train, supervise, and motivate staff to meet performance targets
- Ordering and Stocking the level of Fuel Supply.
Ensure that the store is well presented and all point of sale material is displayed in accordance with planograms. Ensure that high standards of housekeeping are maintained throughout the site.
Ensure legal and safety compliance through all of the store’s operations e.g., food safety, underage sales, forecourt operations.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly
- Implement sales strategies to achieve revenue goals
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualification:
- Relevant Undergraduate Qualifications with 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Skilled in administrative tasks such as scheduling and reporting
- Proven experience in sales management and leadership roles
- Strong supervisory and team management abilities
- Proficient in phone etiquette and written communication
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members

Salary: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 40 Hour Per Week (Evening and Weekend Day Shift)
