Our client, a leading manufacturer & supplier of top end wooden flooring, is looking to add an experienced Bench Joiner to their committed & dedicated team!
The ideal candidate will be required to:
~ Work independently on tasks and be able to lead a small team
~ Set up and operate the following equipment: saws, planers, spindle moulder, power tools
~ Plan daily work schedule
~ Design of bespoke items
~ CAD Drawing understanding
~ Create documentation for production
~ Execute jobs required on time alongside production operative
~ Liaise with multiple departments on job requirements & issues
~ Daily checks & maintenance of machinery
~ Ensure consumables, tools & items required for production are kept stocked up and order as appropriate
~ Arrange repairs & maintenance on machinery where appropriate
~ Responsible for keeping the workshop, tidy and safe
~ Report issues to Manager
~ Weekly reports to Manager of work completed
The working hours are 0800 - 1630 Monday to Friday, with the opportunity to work overtime.
An immediate start is available after successful interview.
This vacancy could lead to full time after a successful qualifying period.
