The Best Connection are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Technician to join one of our clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This role involves monitoring production processes, conducting inspections, and implementing quality control measures.
Job Description: Conduct routine inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards. Perform microbiological and chemical testing on products and ingredients. Monitor and document production processes to ensure adherence to quality and safety protocols. Identify and report any deviations from quality standards and work with production teams to implement corrective actions. Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities. Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance policies and procedures. Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and improve processes. Shifts:
Monday to Friday
07.00-16.30
Requirements: Previous experience in quality assurance or within the food production industry. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control principles. Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and conducting various tests. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
