Summary
Workchain is currently seeking a Temporary Car/Van Driver in Crawley. As a driver in the heart of the driving industry, your responsibilities will include efficiently transporting goods and materials to various locations, following all traffic laws and regulations, and ensuring the safety of the vehicle and its contents at all times. Key Responsibilities:- Safely and efficiently operate a car or van to transport goods and materials- Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safe travel- Inspect vehicle for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance when needed- Load and unload goods and materials as required- Communicate with dispatchers and team members to coordinate deliveries and pick-ups- Maintain accurate logs and records of driving activitiesQualifications:- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record- Previous experience as a professional driver preferred- Strong knowledge of driving laws and regulations- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions- Excellent communication and time management skillsThe pay rate for this position is £12.41 per hour.
