Summary
Coppersmith Recruitment and Services is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and reputable swimming pool installation and maintenance company based in Cheshire. We are seeking a Mobile Swimming Pool Technician to join their growing team.
This is a hands-on, field-based role ideal for someone with a strong technical mindset, excellent customer service skills, and a background in pool servicing, plumbing, or facilities maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct scheduled maintenance and servicing of domestic and commercial swimming pools, spas, and water features across the Cheshire area.
Diagnose and repair faults in pool filtration, heating, dosing, and lighting systems.
Carry out water quality testing and chemical balancing, ensuring pools meet health and safety standards.
Clean and vacuum pool surfaces, filters, and surrounding areas as required.
Install and commission pool equipment including pumps, heaters, filters, and automatic dosing systems.
Provide on-site technical advice and excellent customer service to clients.
Keep accurate records of all work completed and materials used.
Ensure company vehicle is maintained and stock levels are managed.
Adhere to health and safety procedures and industry best practices at all times.
Requirements
Previous experience in a swimming pool technician or maintenance role (essential).
Knowledge of pool filtration, heating, and water treatment systems.
Full UK driving licence (essential) – company van provided.
Ability to work independently and manage your daily schedule effectively.
Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Flexibility to work occasional weekends or evenings as required.
