Healthcare Assistant
£12.50 per hour, rotation of day and night shifts

As a Healthcare Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care. From supporting daily routines to building genuine, caring relationships with residents, you’ll help make each day as comfortable, dignified, and enriching as possible.

What We’re Looking For
- Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a care home environment.
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards residents and their families.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with residents and colleagues.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, supporting and assisting others as needed.
- Reliable and responsible work ethic, demonstrating professionalism and discretion in maintaining patient confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting residents in their daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Monitoring and recording patient vital signs, and promptly reporting any changes to the medical staff.
- Providing emotional support and companionship to residents while maintaining their dignity and privacy.
- Assisting residents with mobility and safe transfers as needed.
- Ensuring a clean and safe environment for residents, including their rooms and communal areas.
- Adhering to individual care plans and following medical professionals' instructions.
- Effectively communicating with residents, their families, and the wider healthcare team.
