· Please note that Hilton does not own a car park facility. Therefore if you need to drive to work there are parking facilities adjoined to our premises, owned and managed by the Woking Borough Council. To park your vehicle on the premises, you will need to purchase a parking permit directly from the council at approximately a cost of £1320 to £2,750 per year depending on the carbon emissions of your vehicle.
A Marketing Executive will work with the Commercial Manager to assist in the implementation of the marketing plan to increase hotel brand awareness.
What will I be doing?
As Marketing Executive you will work with the Commercial Manager to assist in the implementation of the marketing plan for the recently opened Hilton Woking, in Surrey and to create hotel brand awareness. Specifically, a Marketing Coordinator will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Planning and implementation of marketing activities
- Manage and update company website, third party sites and social media platforms to promote the hotel’s services, packages, and events
- Create, curate, and publish engaging content (photos, videos, stories, reels) that showcases the hotel’s unique experiences, amenities, events, and promotions
- Collaborate with influencers, travel bloggers, and local partners to boost the hotel’s social media reach and reputation.
- Plan and run paid social media advertising campaigns to target specific demographics and promote special offers or events
- Monitor social media channels, respond to guest inquiries and comments promptly, and engage with followers to build an active and loyal online community
- Plan and execute promotional events, seasonal offers, and partnership programs
- Support with designing creative materials for Internal & External Communications including Photoshoots and video
- Create and distribute marketing collateral such as brochures, newsletters, email campaigns, and press releases
- Responsible for ensuring brand.com, conference and events pages are kept up to date along with third party sites
- Manage online reputation by monitoring reviews and guest feedback on social channels and relevant review sites, collaborating with guest services to address issues
- Market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and trends
- Awareness of advertising budgets and liaise with vendors, media, and creative agencies
- General admin assistance in support of key team projects and initiatives
- Track and report on the performance of marketing activities, using data to optimise strategies
- Support the sales and operational teams with promotional materials and campaigns
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and guest communications
What are we looking for?
A Marketing Executive serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
- Ability to understand key business indicators and competitive trends and develop approaches to these challenges
- Intermediate level of IT skills including Adobe, powerpoint, photoshop, canva & In-design
- Proven organisational and planning skills
- Ability to work under pressure at all times
- It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Previous Hotel or leisure sector experience
- Previous Marketing experience in a similar environment
- Basic knowledge of budgeting or cost-management
- Relevant degree, in marketing, business development or other relevant business field, from an academic institution
